Order of Events: BB, CR, SB, SW, LR, LBR, JGB, TR, BR

Notes: Sunday Shootout Championship will be:

-Top 10 in CR, SW, LR, LBR, TR

-Top 6 in BR, SB, BB

-Top 5 in JGB

Roughstock qualifications ground rules:

Highest marked rides from 1-6 in the BR, SB & BB make the shootout round.

-In the case that there is not enough qualified rides, we will go back to the score sheet and calculate the “TIME” rode by the animal “SCORE”.  The highest marked totals will get back to shootout round.

(ie. Gord rides for 4sec x 18 bull score=72 points, Josh rides for 5sec x 16 bull score=80 points)

We will use this formula to fill all the empty spots in the shootout round

-In the event of a tie for the “qualified rides” (ie. 5th, 6th & 7th) we will take the highest “rider’s” score as the tie breaker.

Timed Events qualifications ground rules:

-Fastest times from 1-10 in LB, CR, SW, LR & TR and 1-5 in JGB will qualify for the shootout round.

-In the events of a tie (ie. 9th, 10th & 11th) we will go to the hundredth of a second in the SW, CR, TR & LR and to the thousandth of a second in LBR & JGB.

-TR teams that qualify for the short round, must compete with the same partner that they competed with in the long round.

-If a TR team member is unavailable to compete in the short round, due to a conflict, we will have to roll down to the next team in the long round standings.

**It is Virden Rodeo’s intention to fill all the short round positions, therefore if a contestant is unable to attend the short round (ie injury, scheduling conflict, or other reasons) we will make our best effort to roll down to the next eligible contestant.**
