Slack order: Roughstock (if needed), ladies barrels, junior girls, tie down, steer wrestling, breakaway roping & team roping
Order of Events: BB, CR, SB, SW, LR, LBR, JGB, TR, BR
Notes: Sunday Shootout Championship will be:
-Top 10 in CR, SW, LR, LBR, TR
-Top 6 in BR, SB, BB
-Top 5 in JGB
Roughstock qualifications ground rules:
-Highest marked rides from 1-6 in the BR, SB & BB make the shootout round.
-In the case that there is not enough qualified rides, we will go back to the score sheet and calculate the “TIME” rode by the animal “SCORE”. The highest marked totals will get back to shootout round.
(ie. Gord rides for 4sec x 18 bull score=72 points, Josh rides for 5sec x 16 bull score=80 points)
We will use this formula to fill all the empty spots in the shootout round
-In the event of a tie for the “qualified rides” (ie. 5th, 6th & 7th) we will take the highest “rider’s” score as the tie breaker.
Timed Events qualifications ground rules:
-Fastest times from 1-10 in LB, CR, SW, LR & TR and 1-5 in JGB will qualify for the shootout round.
-In the events of a tie (ie. 9th, 10th & 11th) we will go to the hundredth of a second in the SW, CR, TR & LR and to the thousandth of a second in LBR & JGB.

Canadian Finals Breakaway Guidelines
Sidepot Fee is $200
Rodeo will run as normal, CCA Breakaway Roping event rules will be in place.
Must have minimum of 5 entries in sidepot to be eligible to be a CFB qualifier.
The amount of contestants that qualify and get points will follow CFB guidelines.
Contestants will send sidepot fees by etransfer to Michelle Marcenko by noon on the first day of given rodeo, (If the rodeos first performance is on a Friday, then deadline is noon Friday). Contestants will also send confirmation phone/text to Michelle to advise of which rodeo the sidepot fee is for and to get contestant name on the list. If Michelle does not respond a confirmation by noon on first day of given rodeo, then the contestant should assume they are not on the list and their sidepot fee wasn’t received. Contestants must also disclose to Michelle if they hold a full card with CPRA/WPRA. E-transfers to Michelle Marcenko at: marcenko.michelle@prairiesouth.ca OR 306-476-7288.
Michelle and Breakaway director will analyze results and send to CFB in 48 hours after completion of rodeo. Breakaway director and Michelle will advise contestants of which rodeos are CFB qualifiers and with the results after each rodeo. Check Canadian Cowboys Association Facebook page for updates.
Any Ladies Breakaway Ropers may enter into the sidepot whether they are CCA members, local entries, or members of another association that have paid the appropriate fees to be a contestant, or dual approved association members.
Contact Jillian Switzer, Breakaway director, for any further questions.
