Canadian Cowboys Association Finals Rodeo Event Dates Announced

The Canadian Cowboys Association (CCA) Event Finals Committee is excited to announce the 2021 CCA Event Finals Rodeo dates of September 24th – 26th, 2021.

“It was disappointing that the finals had to be cancelled due to Covid in 2020 – however, we are excited to be working toward an incredible outdoor show in Swift Current for September 24th to 26th, 2021,” states CCA Event Finals Chairman Bob Hope.

“The Canadian Cowboys Association is working very diligently with Saskatchewan Health to ensure that the Rodeo Season can begin and move forward in a safe environment for the contestants and spectators alike. With a season being possible and the first rodeos set for June, we are excited for the planning process to begin for the finals. The Event Finals will Showcase the top notch cowboys, cowgirls, rough stock and equine athletes around.” said Robin Poirier, President of the Canadian Cowboys Association.

Due to Covid guidelines and regulations the event finals details continue to be developed. Information regarding ticket sales will be available in the near future. One thing is certain, September 24th – 26th will be an exciting weekend of rodeo action and community celebration at Swift Current’s Kinetic Park.

2018 Rodeo Schedule

Dear CCA membership as of this morning (May 24,2018) we are terminating our agreement with the Lakeland Rodeo Association. Regarding our co-approving 5 rodeos with each association. We cannot be involved with an association that will not accept our complete membership at their rodeos. We sincerely apologize to the CCA membership, committees, contractors and anyone that may have been affected by this decision. Moving forward we are having the LRA remove everyone that is a CCA member from Tofield entries.

CCA Junior Barrel Racers: New for 2018

For 2018 there is going to not only be a Ladies Barrel Rep but now also a Junior Barrel Rep.

The Junior Barrel Rep WILL NOT be responsible for making markers, packing tapes, shovels, etc-.

Each Junior member will only have to be the Junior Barrel Rep at one rodeo this season.

There might be some rodeos throughout the summer without a Junior Rep depending how on the draw is.

The office will mark it on the draw just like it is on the ladies. This will only apply to CCA carded members.
